Thank you for visiting our website. We are a group of living historians who enjoy teaching about the American Civil War. We accomplish this by attending living history events and reenactments. We participate both as Confederate Infantry and Federal Infantry soldiers. The New River Rifles are always looking for new members.
If you love history this is a great time to join us for an event. Our Quartermaster has uniforms, muskets and all necessary gear to get you started. The best way to evaluate the hobby is to participate. Our members have participated in major events from Gettysburg Pa. to Shiloh Tn. They have worked as extras in movies from Gods and Generals, Glory and Gettysburg.
